Role of dandelion in digestive system diseases

Abstract:

Dandelion has the effect of clearing and detoxifying, reducing swelling, removing jaundice etc.Modern pharmacological researches confirm that dandelion contains polysaccharide, flavonoids, sterols, pigments, triterpenes and volatile oil etc, and these ingredients have multiple biological utility, such as anti-inflammatory, improving immunity, protecting liver, promoting gastrointestinal peristalsis, regulating intestinal flora and have the wide roles to digestive system diseases.
