Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the diagnostic value of 640-slice spiral CT and 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)for ovarian cancer.

Methods

A total of 80 patients with ovarian cancer in No.960 Hospital of PLA from January 2016 to January 2018 were studied. All patients underwent 640-slice CT and 1.5T MRI before operation. After the examination, combined with surgical pathological results, the diagnostic accuracy, pathological staging accuracy and recurrence and metastasis sensitivity of the two methods were evaluated.

Results

According to the postoperative pathological results, the diagnostic accuracy, pathological staging diagnosis accuracy, recurrence and metastasis diagnosis rate and sensitivity of ovarian cancer with 1.5T MRI were significantly higher than those with 640-slice CT, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the diagnostic accuracy between the two groups when the ovarian cancer was in stageⅣand the ovarian cancer invasion and metastasis appeared in the intestine and peritoneal retina(P>0.05).

Conclusion

Compared with 640-slice CT, 1.5T MRI has obvious advantages in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer, but there is no difference in the diagnosis rate of ovarian cancer stageⅣ, and invasion and metastasis to the intestine and peritoneal retina. The clinical combination of CT and MRI examination can be flexibly selected according to the actual characteristics of the patient.
