Abstract:

At present, the diabetes has become a major threat to public health in our country. It is well known that diabetes and its complications always affect the patient′s quality of life seriously.Patients with early diabetes can control the rise of blood sugar by adjusting their diet, doing more exercise in a moderate amount and using appropriate drugs, but many people go to the hospital when diabetes progresses to a certain extent. Therefore, it is necessary to find an objective method of evaluating the patient′s condition in clinical practice, so as to prophylactic use of therapeutic drugs to avoid complications caused by deterioration of blood sugar.Studies have shown that in the process of type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM), the pancreas changes morphologically. With the development of imaging technology, 3D visualization technology has gradually appeared in the medical field.By combining 3D visualization technology with multi-slice CT(MSCT), the differences of pancreas morphological changes in T2DM patients are explored, which is expected to make up the gaps in the diagnosis of T2DM by imaging examination and evaluate the disease process of T2DM patients.
