Current status of research on adenocarcinoma of gastroesophageal junction

Abstract

Abstract:

In recent years, the incidence of adenocarcinoma of gastroesophageal junction(AGJ)has been increasing year by year and has attracted much attention.For the difficult problems of AGJ diagnosis and treatment, there are more clinical studies and technical innovations to gradually improve and solve them in depth.In this paper, we review the current status of research based on the classification, staging, lymph node drainage characteristics and clearance range, imaging diagnosis and treatment modalities of AGJ to improve clinicians′ understanding and treatment.
