Abstract:

Functional gastrointestinal disorders(FGIDs)are a group of chronic or recurrent, related with psychosomatic factors, gastrointestinal dysfunction, non-organic diseases. "RomeⅣ-functional gastrointestinal disease" new standards were published in may 2016, and the new definition of FGIDs was enteric-brain interaction disorder. The emergence of various clinical symptoms is mainly based on the interaction of various and complicated "bio-psycho-social" pathogeny.FGIDs of children mainly include cyclic vomiting syndrome, functional nausea and functional vomiting, functional dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal migraine, functional abdominal pain-not otherwise specified, and functional constipation.A primary diagnosis can be made from clinical signs of FGIDs in children. But now almost all the treatments of the disease are based on symptoms, no much "specific medicine" , and with a high recurrence rate. Therefore normal, long-term, follow-up and comprehensive treatments are needed.
