Abstract:

Objective

To explore the value of 64-slice spiral CT plain scan and 3D reconstruction in diagnosis of omental tumors.

Methods

A retrospective analysis was performed on 24 patients who had been diagnosed as omental tumors by surgery and puncture biopsy at Hongqi Hospital Affiliated to Mudanjiang Medical College from June 2007 to June 2018. The results of 64-slice spiral CT scan and 3D reconstruction and pathological results were compared.

Results

The 64-slice spiral CT examination could clearly show the location, size, structure and the adjacent relationship with the surrounding tissues of omental tumors, and it had high specificity, sensitivity and accuracy in the diagnosis of omental tumors.

Conclusion

The 64-slice spiral CT has great significance in diagnosing the location, nature, preoperative diagnosis and postoperative evaluation of omental tumors.
