Research progress of nonalcoholic fatty pancreas disease

Abstract:

Nonalcoholic fatty pancreas disease(NAFPD)refers to the accumulation of pancreatic fat related to obesity or metabolic syndrome.In recent years, with the improvement of people′s living standards, its incidence is also increasing, and the related research is also increasing.At present, its pathogenesis is unclear, and the quantitative evaluation methods mainly include histological examination, ultrasound, CT, MRI, etc.According to studies in recent years, its correlation with diseases mainly focuses on type 2 diabetes, atherosclerosis, metabolic syndrome, pancreatic cancer, pancreatic endocrine and exocrine function, nonalcoholic fatty liver, acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic fistula and so on.Compared with hepatic steatosis, the number of studies related to NAFPD is still small.
