Abstract:

Objective

To explore the value of magnetic resonance perfusion-weighted imaging(PWI)in the assessment of blood supply in brain tissue and clinical treatment of congenital vascular stenosis.

Methods

Sixty-four patients with congenital vascular stenosis diagnosed with DSA or CTA who have been diagnosed in Hongqi Hospital Affiliated to Mudanjiang Medical College from June 2016 to June 2019 were selected.Regional cerebral blood volume(rCBV), regional cerebral blood volume(rCBF), relative mean transmit time(rMTT)and relative time to peak(rTTP)and other related parameters were obtained from the region of interest after processing with post-processing software. The differences in perfusion between patients with clinical symptoms and those without clinical symptoms were compared, and the perfusion in different areas of patients with clinical symptoms was compared.

Results

The differences in perfusion rCBV, rCBF, rMTT and rTTP between patients with clinical symptoms and patients without clinical symptoms were compared. The rCBF value decreased, while the rMTT and rTTP values showed prolongation(P<0.05), and there was no statistical difference in rCBV values between the two groups. The decrease of rCBF and rCBV values and prolongation of rMTT and rTTP values in patients with congenital vascular stenosis were statistically significant(P<0.05).

Conclusion

Magnetic resonance perfusion functional imaging technology can effectively evaluate the blood supply of congenital cerebrovascular stenosis in the brain tissue, which is of great significance for the evaluation of clinical blood supply and the choice of treatment options.
