New advances in imaging diagnosis of colorectal cancer

Abstract:

Colorectal cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors of the digestive system.Early detection of primary lesions, metastatic lesions and recurrent lesions can guide clinical treatment and assess the prognosis.Imaging diagnosis plays an important role in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer.Now, the accuracy of tumor staging has been improved with the development of new technologies such as dual-source CT, multimodal MRI technology, PET/CT, contrast-enhanced ultrasonography, simultaneously, various parameters can also evaluate tumor grade, blood supply et al, which is helpful for accurate diagnosis and individualized treatment of tumors.This article summarizes the related research results and reviews the current status and application of imaging methods in the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer and liver metastasis.
