Diagnostic value of tuberculin test and T-cell spot test in intestinal tuberculosis

Abstract:

This article reviews the research progress of tuberculin test and T-cell spot test in the diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis.The sensitivity of tuberculin test in the diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis is about 50%-60%, the specificity can reach 70%, and the negative predictive value is 60%-70%.The T-cell spot test has a sensitivity of more than 70%, a specificity of more than 80%, and a negative predictive value of more than 80%in the diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis.In the diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis, the sensitivity can exceed 80%, the specificity can exceed 60%, and the negative predictive value can exceed 85%, which has high clinical significance for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis.Therefore, theycan be used in combination according to clinical conditions.
