Application value of fecal calprotectin detection of colon polyps

Abstract:

Colon cancer is an important health problem and has a high incidence rate worldwide.Colon polyp, especially adenomatous polyp, is a kind of precancerous lesion of colon cancer, so it can reduce the incidence of colon cancer by improving the diagnosis of colon polyp.As a marker of acute inflammatory cell activation, a large number of studies have confirmed that fecal calprotectin is highly expressed in inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, especially in terms of assessing the disease activity and predicting recurrence of inflammatory bowel disease.Colon polyp is the result of intestinal inflammatory lesion, and some studies have confirmed that the level of calprotectin in the stool of patients with colon polyp is increased.The summary is as follows.
