Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of Maslow′s hierarchy of needs on treatment compliance and satisfaction of patients with digestive endoscopy.
Methods A total of 96 patients with digestive endoscopy in Huai′an Hospital Affiliated to Xuzhou Medical University from January 2018 to May 2019 were randomly divided into control group(48 cases)and observation group(48 cases)according to random number table method.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing intervention, while patients in the observation group were given Maslow′s hierarchy of needs theory to implement nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing. After intervention, nursing satisfaction, psychological status, treatment compliance and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.
Results The nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group(85.42%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(62.50%, P<0.05). The scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). The treatment compliance and enthusiasm of the patients in the observation group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group(4.17%)was lower than that in the control group(18.75%), with a significant difference(P<0.05).
Conclusion The application of Maslow′s hierarchy of needs theory in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive endoscopy can effectively improve the patient′s treatment compliance and nursing satisfaction, reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions, and has significant advantages in the nursing management of patients with digestive endoscopy diagnosis and treatment, which is worthy of wide clinical promotion.
