CT imaging features and clinical analysis of acute closed injury of mesentery

Abstract:

Objective

By comparing the imaging findings of preoperative CT examination and clinical operation in intestinal and mesentery injuries caused by abdominal trauma, to explore the imaging findings and diagnostic advantages of CT examination in abdominal trauma intestinal and mesenteric injury, so as to improve the diagnostic coincidence rate of CT imaging in intestinal and mesenteric injury.

Methods

A total of 40 patients with suspected closed abdominal injury admitted to Dongsheng Hospital of Zhongshan city from 2008 to 2020 were selected, and all of them underwent CT examination.The results of CT examination and pathological examination were compared to summarize the diagnostic coincidence rate of CT imaging, and the CT imaging characteristics of patients with different mesenteric injuries were summarized.

Results

The coincidence rate of CT diagnosis was 97.5%, and the rate of missed diagnosis was 2.5%.There was no significant difference between CT examination and pathological examination(P>0.05). The imaging features of CT examination included free gas in abdominal cavity, blood and fluid accumulation in abdominal cavity and intestinal space, intestinal wall thickening and edema, intestinal wall hematoma and mesenteric edema.

Conclusion

CT examination has good diagnostic value for patients with acute mesenteric closed injury.Its imaging characteristics are remarkable, and it can distinguish different types of mesenteric injury with high diagnostic coincidence rate.
