Therapeutic effect of endoscopic mechanical lithotripsy on plant gastrolithiasis

Abstract:

Objective

To explore the methods, effects and safety of electronic gastroscope for treating plant gastrolithiasis.

Methods

By means of the electronic gastroscope, appropriate instruments were selected according to the specific conditions, including five-jaw forceps, rat tooth forceps, foreign body mesh baskets, snares, etc.Forty patients with plant gastrolithiasis were treated and the curative effects were observed.

Results

Of the 40 patients, 37 patients had gastric ulcers.The success rate of crushing stone was 100%.Four patients were completed lithotripsy by two times.The average treatment time was 36 minutes.Intraoperative gastric mucosa was slightly oozing due to slight mechanical injury and there were no other significant complications.

Conclusion

Appropriate equipment for lithotripsy or stone removal under endoscopy is an effective method for the treatment of gastrolithiasis and is worthy of popularization and application.
