Abstract:

Objective

To observe the clinical efficacy of lysine gluzinc granules in the adjuvant treatment of persistent diarrhea in infants and young children.

Methods

A total of 183 cases of infants and young children with persistent diarrhea admitted to Changsha Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital from January 2018 to June 2022 were selected. Finally a total of 140 cases of infants and young children were included in this study. They were divided into control group and observation group with 70 cases in each group by random number table method. The control group was treated with montelukast, Bifidobacterium tetradecanoides tablets and Shenmue Oral Liquid, while the observation group was treated with lysine gluzinc granules on the basis of the control group. The clinical symptoms, serum immune indexes and clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared before and after treatment, and the occurrence of adverse reactions during the treatment period was recorded.

Results

After treatment, the clinical symptoms and serum immune indexes of children in both groups improved, but the improvement time of clinical symptoms.and hospitalization time.of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05). The serum immune indexes<.and total effective rate.of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).

Conclusion

Adjuvant treatment with lysine gluzinc granules can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of infants and young children with persistent diarrhea and enhance the immunity of the children.
